About ILoveDev

ILoveDev is a collection of free tools for web developers. The goal is simple: small, fast utilities that do one job clearly, without accounts or installs.

Why ILoveDev exists

Developers reach for small utilities many times a day: formatting a response, decoding a string, checking a color. ILoveDev puts those utilities in one fast, clean place, so you do not need to install software or trust an unknown upload form.

What is included

Twenty tools. The original eight are a JSON formatter and validator, a CSS gradient generator, a Base64 encoder and decoder, a regex tester, a URL encoder and decoder, an HTML, CSS and JavaScript minifier, a color converter with WCAG contrast checker, and a text and code diff checker. Newer tools: JWT decoder, meta tag generator, UUID generator, cron expression generator, SQL formatter, robots.txt generator, HTML entity encoder and decoder, JavaScript playground, HTTP status code lookup, favicon generator, WebP to PNG converter and HTML table generator.

How the tools work

Everything runs with HTML, CSS and JavaScript in your browser, and the pages do not send your input to a server. The JavaScript minifier relies on the open-source Terser library, which is bundled with this site and also runs locally.
